Delete in the app
Open Tools → User Profile → Delete Account and follow the confirmation steps.
If you cannot access the app
Email support@taxdiarynz.com from the email address registered to your Tax Diary NZ account. Use the subject Tax Diary NZ Account Deletion Request.
Do not send your password, IRD number, bank information or backup password by email.
Before deleting
Export any records you need to retain. Account deletion may remove account/profile, Community, support, subscription/access and cloud-recovery data according to current retention rules. Local files on another device or copies you exported yourself are outside the server deletion process.
Moderation/security retention
Minimal moderation, security and Terms agreement proof records may be retained only where reasonably necessary for abuse prevention, legal claims or compliance, and then removed under the documented retention process.
